DWM recently completed a unique 2,144-square-foot transformation at Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park in North Lawrence, Ohio converting an existing office and kitchenette into a fully functioning arcade.
Over eight weeks, our team coordinated multiple trades to deliver:
A new storefront entrance
An ADA-compliant restroom
Updated lighting, electrical, and mechanical systems
Installation of false columns for electrical utilities.
New flooring and wall finishes
Pine chair rail and custom-trimmed corrugated metal panels
Cleanly integrated fixtures, accessories, and equipment
When new building requirements added a frost wall and landing, DWM adapted. The additional work required ground scanning and excavating a 10-by-10-foot area up to five feet deep before forming and pouring new footings, frost walls, and slab.
Manufacturer and shipping delays also affected the storefront doors and energy recovery ventilation system. To keep inspections and the project moving, our team modified and installed the available doors, ordered new replacements at no cost to the client, and wired temporary ERV controls.
The surrounding resort remained operational throughout construction, and all work was completed during regular business hours. The finished space passed inspection and was delivered fully operational.
