The National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) is a non-profit organization with the stated number one goal to “Support best practices in the construction industry that promote quality standards and public safety, mutual interests and regulation of business practices.” An overarching mission of NASCLA is to assist state licensing agencies with the standardization of licensing criteria in order to ensure the same level of quality and best practices are maintained throughout the nation. The work of this body is vital – particularly in our industry, where contracts are deployed across state lines.
