Allison came on board with DWM in early 2014. She brought with her experience in marketing serviced-based companies in the supermarket, c-store, and restaurant industries. Allison currently leads the company’s marketing and communications initiatives.
Allison has her bachelor's degree in Business and Communications from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY and her MBA from The Sage Colleges School of Management in Albany, NY.
A 20-year veteran of both hospitality and facility maintenance, Joe’s experience has led him to senior management roles in operations and strategic business development for companies such as Marriott, Hilton, Coverall NA, and Horizon National Contract Services. Joe's knowledge and expertise in contract management and self-performing facility service models has evolved in the successful balance of company growth while maintaining a client centric focus around continuous improvement.
Joe leads DWM’s client-focused approach to strategic business development for the retail, restaurant, convenience store, grocery, and banking industries.
Katie has been with DWM since its inception in 1997. Working part-time through high school and college, she joined the company full-time in 2001 as a customer service coordinator. With a proactive approach to client service, it soon became apparent that she would be a natural fit for sales. She has since made a name for herself throughout the facilities maintenance industry, with a reputation for developing close personal relationships with her clients and making sure the job always gets done right. In 2015, Katie was promoted to Vice President of Strategic Account Management.
Katie graduated from Harding University in 2001. She was a member of PRSM and was co-chair of PRSM Ethics Committee from 2008–2010.
After working part-time for two years, Brian became a full-time employee in 2001 when he came on board as Quality Assurance Director. In 2008, he was promoted to VP of Operations. Brian has been instrumental in shaping many of the policies and business structures of DWM, including everything from the internal systems design to the employee handbook. In 2014, Brian was named Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for strategic oversight of the company.
Brian has a BA in Communication Management from Harding University. In 2005, he received his MBA from the University of Albany. He is a member of PRSM, RFMA and a deacon at Albany Church of Christ.
Raised in Rochester, NY, David Meeks has always had a passion for people and helping them solve problems. After studying Retail Business, David began his career as a Maintenance Manager for the Hess Corporation. After 20 years at Hess, David’s job was outsourced to a single-source service provider--a trend he noticed emerging strongly for other retailers.
David saw the opportunity to capitalize on this shift and jump into the vendor side of the industry. In 1997, after a year on the vendor side, one of David’s former colleagues called him up and said “I’m going to start working on the retail side and need a facilities maintenance company. I need great service for my stores. Will you be my facilities maintenance provider?”
DWM's first client relationship began that day and continues to flourish to this day.
Since 1997, DWM has grown from a single spare bedroom office to a leading international facilities maintenance provider for some of the world's best brands.
Paul had worked at Hess Oil Company for over 12 years when he decided to move to Albany, NY, and help his brother, David Meeks, create DWM. From the outset, he's been an instrumental part of building DWM into a strong national company that services the facilities maintenance needs of the retail industry.
Paul shares more than a passion for the industry with his brother. Like David, he's also a seasoned pilot. In his spare time, if he's not in the air, Paul can be found on a golf course. Or a baseball field. Or a basketball court.
As a Strategic Account Manager for DWM, Mark leverages his years of sales experience in residential building products and services to develop the perfect facilities maintenance solutions for each of his customers.
Prior to his current position, Mark was a lead customer service representative, where he took his clients' needs personally, handling everything from daily work order creation to vendor and client relations to project management. Mark has a bachelor's degree from Harding University.
Heidi joined DWM in 1997 as a dispatcher of service calls. As the company grew and changed, so did Heidi's role. Eventually, she helped create DWM's Accounting department and now reigns over it (benevolently). Heidi was promoted to Vice President of Finance in 2014.
Heidi has an MBA and a BA in Political Science from the University of Albany. In her spare time, she is a consultant with WellVersed Gifts and serves as secretary for Camp Hunt, Inc.
Heather brings with her nearly 10 years of account management experience in the retail industry, previously managing product development and distribution for Wal-Mart, Burlington Coat Factory, and DSW.
Heather is a graduate of Penn State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations.
Having worked in construction for Barden Homes, Ryan brings over 11 years of solid project experience to his job. That, combined with his multiple-location management experience at Quiznos, has helped him hone the skill set he needs to effectively manage projects for DWM. A licensed water filtration expert and proven project manager, Ryan has earned 3M's Level 4 certification and many accolades for his ability to complete projects on time and on budget. Ryan was promoted to Director of Projects in 2015.
When he's not at work, Ryan can most likely be found on the green indulging in his favorite activity: golf.
