Scope:
DWM was contracted to complete an 8 week remodel of a health & wellness-focused educational facility. The project is to be completed in two phases to minimize disruption to operations. The scope includes general interior, painting, flooring, doors, cabinetry/millwork, turn-key clean up, and on-site project management. The project will focus on clinical areas, classrooms, lounges, cafe, and vestibules.
Scope Detail:

Put down protective plastic on all finished floors and furniture

Patch and sand all minor wall defects

Spot prime all repairs and stains
-
Apply two coats of Benjamin Moore Scuff-X in Satin Low- V.O.C. Paint on all walls

Apply two coats of Benjamin Moore 'UltraSpec' HP D.T.M. Semi-Gloss Paint on all door frames
-
Clean all work areas Daily and dispose of all debris off site

Perform initial moisture testing to be conducted prior to start of flooring installation

Work is to be completed in two phases

Existing flooring and cove base is to be Demo'ed in all areas
-
Apply "Ardex" feather finish to floor, ensuring a smooth and flat surface

Install Shaw carpet tiles and new cove base

Install Shaw L.V.T. and cove base
-
Install heavy duty carpet tile in front vestibule
-
Install transitions were required
-
Clean all work areas daily and dispose of all debris offsite

Build closet in the Northeast corner of Clinic with 36" door
-
Install partition wall between Clinic and Classroom

Classroom "B"

Build Storage closet the length of south wall with 36" door

Build (2) walls to create 'cubby' for partition door

Classroom "C"

Build Storage closet the length of the south wall with a 36" door

Faculty Room/ Practice Lab #6

Remove wall between Faculty Room and Practice lab #6 merging the rooms

Remove Door for Practice Lab #6 and fill in doorway

Frame out new walls as required

Apply 5/8" drywall to new wall

Tape joints and finish to a smooth finish

Install 36" solid core wood doors to match existing like for like

Adjust ceiling grids as necessary

Remove existing upper and lower cabinets in the Lunchroom

Put aside sink and faucet to be reused
-
Install (6) new upper and lower cabinets
-
Install new laminate counter top with backsplash and original faucet and sink

Remove existing laminate from top of front reception desk
-
Prepare surface to receive new laminate
-
Install New laminate on the reception desk
-
Clean work area and dispose of all debris off site
-
Remove all wood lockers on wall in Student Lounge
-
Make all necessary repairs to the wall to be paint ready
-
Install up to (3) Duplex outlets on wall that is receiving cafe bar
-
Install (6) new pendant lights in student lounge and hallway

Prime walls
-
After Student lounge is painted and new flooring is installed

Install 26'L X 42"H ABOVE FLOOR X 20"D long cafe style bar with 12 bar stools anchored to the concrete wall

Remove inner wooden entry doors from door frame
-
Remove all door hardware and save for reuse

Sand doors and fill any dents
-
Apply one coat of stain to match existing doors

Apply two coats of polyurethane
-
Hang doors in door frame
-
Install original hardware
-
Install speaker/s into the reception area connected into the music PA system

Clean work area and dispose of all debris off site

Remove existing accordion door and track
