LATHAM, NY (8/4/2016) DWM Facilities Maintenance is excited to welcome three new employees to their team as a result of the company’s Partnership with Siena College in Loudonville, NY. The partnership with the College’s Career center has energized DWM’s internship program, providing high quality opportunities to students looking to gain the edge in the job market upon graduation. The company has put a focus on partnering with Siena College to find high quality employees to join their growing team.
This summer, DWM welcomed two interns to the company’s marketing department, Imoh Silas, a former Siena Saints Basketball player and Jessica Leavitt, an incoming Junior at Siena College. In addition, DWM welcomed Siena graduate Scott Fuller full-time Customer Service Coordinator to their team as a result of the Siena College Internship Partnership. Fuller joins fellow Siena graduate Johnny Wang in the Customer Service Department. Wang previously served as an Intern prior to joining DWM full-time this year.
“Over the years DWM has made an effort to team up with local colleges to not only enhance the quality of our staff, but to give students the opportunity to gain real world experience. As our interns learn from us, we are also learning from them which not only diversifies our company culture, but gives us a fresh perspective," said Caitlin McCarthy, HR Specialist.

Working with the college, DWM has been able to aid the career center at Siena reach their goal of helping students find their place in the world and ensuring lifelong guidance and support. The company spends the afternoon on Siena’s campus to conduct interviews and provide job training feedback to applicants that can lead to long-term success and career opportunities.
