DWM Facilities Maintenance announced today they were awarded Albany Business Review’s Best Places to Work Award. In its 12th year, the award showcases companies with positive work environments, strong benefits packages, high employee retention rates, and overall employee engagement. The winners are chosen through a survey by Quantum Workplace of Omaha, which is based on responses and opinions from company employees. DWM was one of nine employers to receive this award in the medium large category for 2015.
“What sets DWM apart from the rest of the competitors in the industry is the level of partnership that we provide to clients. This ideology of partnership is far more than answering the phone and providing answers to questions; it stems from the bigger picture—hiring best in class employees and treating them the way they deserve to be treated,” said Brian Whitt, Chief Operating Officer. “DWM truly takes pride in this concept, our work environment, and more importantly the culture. We realize that even with the best processes and systems, we would not be successful without our staff.”
“Over the years, DWM’s success testifies to the superb daily efforts of our staff. When I began DWM nearly 20 years ago one of our core values was to treat employees well to create long-term relationships and happy customers,”. President and Founder David Meeks said “I am happy to say that while many things have changed over the year, the one thing that will never change is my commitment to our employees.”
DWM will be honored for their achievement in December by Albany Business Review at their “Companies that Rock—Vol. 2” event.
