DWM Inc., the facilities maintenance service provider for such companies as Barnes & Noble, L.L. Bean and Dollar Tree has hired Harvey Alsup as Business Development Manager.
Alsup worked for 32 years in insurance sales with Woodmen of the World. He joins DWM after retiring from his position as state manager of Florida. Randy Horrocks, Vice President of Sales for Woodmen says Alsup was the type of leader that he wishes he could copy.
“His energy, enthusiasm and ability to relate to people make Harvey unique,” Horrocks said. “And beyond those qualities, Harvey’s integrity shines through.”

“Harvey is the best, most experienced salesperson I have ever known,” Whitt said. “I originally approached him to mentor our sales team. When he asked if we would be willing for him to take on a larger role, we jumped at the opportunity.”
“I am excited about joining the DWM team,” Alsup said. “This new industry will be a challenge for me, but one that I am ready to take on.”

DWM, Inc. Launches New Website
January 20, 2012
DWM, Inc. unveils its new website today. Brian Whitt, VP of Operations at DWM, says the launch of the new website corresponds with the company's recent rebranding efforts. "When we reviewed our marketing material in strategy sessions early in 2011, we found the material felt stale. Our site had not aged well in relation to competition. The necessity of the web update drove all of the other transformations."
The new website makes updates to both sales and functional pages. "We wanted to make sure our customers know all the offerings DWM has," says David Meeks, President of DWM. "But it also had to fully integrate the customer experience with our outstanding existing web features."
"I am incredibly excited about the launch," says Mr. Meeks. "This website fully captures the nature of DWM and everything that makes us stand out from our competition. It also shares new details about our process and team. I think even people who have known us for a long time will find it educational."
DWM contracted with FingerPaint Marketing of Saratoga Springs for the website design and build. FingerPaint also designed DWM's new logo.

New Logo and Tagline Unveiled
January 2, 2012
A year-long initiative to better communicate DWM, Inc.'s offerings and competitive advantages culminated today with the introduction of their new logo and colors. DWM partnered with FingerPaint Marketing to accomplish this rebranding. FingerPaint provided market research and design as a part of the process.
President of DWM, Inc., David Meeks, says the process was a difficult one. "The rebranding was a very hard decision for me. We changed the logo, colors, and tagline, which was much more than our original intention. In the end, the outside perspective we gained from our market research convinced me to move ahead."
"The change in colors was the sticking point for the team," says National Sales Director, Katie Whitt. "The bracket logo was the obvious standout—even if it was a huge change, but deciding on what the new colors would be just wore everyone out. In the end, we just felt like the green and grey most effectively communicate who we are—knowledgeable and friendly problem-solvers."
