Biography: Growing up as a boy, David Meeks always loved fixing things. David's parents knew who to go to if they found something taken apart - a heirloom clock, the lawnmower, or the new television set. Who knew that the tinkering he did as a child would aid him in his long-term career?

With decades of Facilities Management experience under his belt, David created DWM, Inc Facilities Maintenance in January 1997. Having knowledge of both the management side as well as the nuts-n-bolts of the jobs made him the perfect leader for DWM.

David's tinkering spirit continues today, "My favorite feature of owning my own business is the empowerment it gives me. I can be involved in every bit of serving a customer. I enjoy delving into the complications of coordinating and supervising some jobs myself."

Besides being married to his job, he is enjoying his 31st year of marriage to his wife, Lila. They have two daughters, Katie and Kristen. Each are married and each will end the year with two children of their own, making a total of four grandchildren for David and Lila.

In what spare time he can find, David enjoys being a private pilot, smoking cigars, and of course, repairing things around the house.
